Default New card club/pony track by twin cities (MN)?

I've been hearing talk that there is going to be a new poker room, much like canterbury park, opening up in forest lake MN. I was wondering if anyone knew any information on this casino like when it will be opening, will they spread any different games (ie spread limit games), and where can you find information about the plans for the casino.

I'm also interested because I am thinking about attempting to get a job dealing at this casino if my other career paths don't work so I'd like to know where I can get info on employment.

As a side question what effect do you think this will have on CP? I wonder if itll be positive competetion or if it will just make CP slower than average.

I heard the same thing and I went looking for information. I couldn't find much except for a Minnesota Racing Commission document outlining the permit for another club in Columbus, MN. Given how far away that is, I don't think it should have too much of an effect on Canterbury.

I did hear that is was supposed to open about a year from now.

If they open this I'd be pretty likely to make use of it. Good location for me, and traffic that drives home north.
