Re: AK wtf??
This post is way too long.
If he bluffs the turn or river a decent amount, check the turn. If he doesn't, bet the turn. That's pretty much it. |

[ QUOTE ]
I would call his flopraise with KQo and bet/fold the turn. [/ QUOTE ] I don't understand. If you're worried about getting blown off AK by a turn bluff why would you bet KQ? Why bet KQ period if his range is air or monsters? With KQ I'm more apt to check the turn and show it down. This thread seems to be full of structural/rules based decision making. AK good but not great hand so pot control it. KQ I don't mind folding the turn so bet it. |

He might have checkraised flop with air that beats my air (44,etc). I am not worried about getting blown off my hand by a turnbluff with KQ. |

Re: AK wtf??
K fixed the AK/AQ thing. Idk man, I don't really think in terms of, well I have K hi and a crappy draw so I don't mind folding. I think I have position with a draw that stacks his hand if I hit, and I may already be good, and if I want to rep an ace I can bet either turn or river. I mean, given how many ppl are checking AK back on the turn I can apparently rep an ace better by chking turn.
Anyway... whatever. This is a tangent. O/P just bet/fold if hes passive and chk behind call any river if hes agg. |
