I haven't seen this mentioned in any of the threads here but did anyone notice that the assassin who killed Nakamura was sliding their hand along the wall when they came out onto the roof, as if they might be blind?

[/ QUOTE ] Nakamura could not possibly be so stupid that he would talk to a blind man that came to kill him.

[/ QUOTE ]

Illusion girl couldn't possibly be so stupid as to place her real body within reach of Sylar, let alone in exactly the spot where her fake body is.

[/ QUOTE ] I don't think we have ever seen her make an illusion where she is not present in it in human form. I don't think it's fair to assume she can.

i meant bring them back after she kills them, not just bring back anyone.

and i wasn't under the impresssion that sylar could tell if someone had a power, just if he saw them using a power or if he got their name from suresh's list, am i wrong?

[/ QUOTE ]

Charlie Wilcox (waitress with perfect memory power), it's not posible to see someone with that power.

[/ QUOTE ]

Untrue. He definitely spent time in the diner watching her to figure out what her power was and waited until he thought he knew to strike. She was very vocal about it after all.

[/ QUOTE ]

But it wasn't like her power was superish, it was just a very good memory.

On the other hand, he didn't go after Hiro in the diner, so maybe you're right.

So does nightmare man kind of have the opposite power of Charles Deveaux?

[/ QUOTE ]

Deveaux's power was never 100% explained. (Ability to enter one's dreams?) It seems Parkamn's dad's power is either astral projection or the ability to see and affect the astral plane.

Man, you guys are harsh. IMO this show is one of the best shows on tv, even w/ the plot flaws. At least they are trying and not throwing some reality tv [censored] in our face for the thousandth time. I was pissed when The Black Donnely's was cancelled and in its place was Thank God Your Here. I watch this show because its enjoyable like a comic and I would hate for another 'we're too lazy to come up w/ something new so here's <insert crappy spin off of current reality show>'. I would watch about 1/3rd less network tv if it wasn't for this show.

I have an idea for all you haters, STOP WATCHING!

that's what I did with Lost partway through season 2. it was EASY

if you don't like it, don't watch, it's EASY

[/ QUOTE ]

Good for you. You stopped watching LOST and by the last 8 episodes of last year it was easily the best show on television.

I can agree that if you never liked Heroes and are the type of person who never will, then there is no reason to watch. But the rest of us liked it and can see the awesome potential it has. Don't get offended when we hold it up to high standards. If we didn't care so much we wouldn't be complaining.

ok i can understand this i guess if your basically saying

episode 1 was a stinking godawful pile of [censored]
episode 2 was a nasty smelling godawful pile of [censored]

this episode was a piece of [censored].

and yes I truly believe that this is one of the most overhyped and overrated shows of all time.

[/ QUOTE ]

Mkultr4,

Yes, that's what most of us were saying. It was the best because the they were all kinda bad, not because it was great. Best = best. Best != good. I don't see why that was so hard to grasp in the first place.

As to your comment about overrated, overhyped shows, you are wearing blinders if you believe that. There are soooo many bad shows that get more hype than this one. Heroes hype hasn't been around that long, and just because it kinda stinks right now doesn't mean it always will. For the most part, AFAIK, they have the same writers. Those writers did a great job last year. Tim Kring wrote a few episodes, and those sucked (the finale, for example).

The poster who used Lost as an example is dead on. That show tanked big time but then recovered to become good again. Here's to hoping it recovers in similar fashion.

I think people need to realize that these last few episodes are merely setting up the big conflicts which will happen later in the series.
