Ok well, i woke up to go get some food about an hour ago, and of course i run into my good friend from last night and talk about it. Basically, im not paying. If he wants to beat me up, ill take legal action, and its not like we can take part in betting at this age anyway. However, they kid is definetely the kind of person i could see coming after me for this. Either way, i cant pay, so im not going to. The only sensible thing to do is a $500 flip. If you win, pay him $800 and you still have $200 to rebuild your roll. If you lose, get a job and the debt will be paid off in a few months.

This exact story happened to me about two years ago. Except replace "this kid" with Party Poker and replace "coin flip" with blackjack. If I ever run in to Martingale, I'm punching him in the mouth.
