Re: Taking a shot 100NL line check
I don't know the answers to these questions but these are possibly some things to think about.
What are you getting called with here? Big pairs? What's the pre-flop raiser folding here? AK type hands? Is this a situation where you could slowplay the hand? Perhaps the best scenario would be an overcard coming on the turn and making a second best hand for the BB. Basically, is there more value in getting it all in now and hoping BB calls with a big pair or giving him a chance to make a second best hand or induce a bluff? |

Re: Taking a shot 100NL line check
Bad push. Even AA has hard time calling this. Give him some room, your hand is strong enough.
p.s.: I bet if you just called 5 would come up |

Thanks thought I overplayed it, but with 2 interested parties I didn't think it wasn't sure if it was awful.

Re: Taking a shot 100NL line check
I don't think it's bad although your stack size is awkward for both raising and pushing. I think I'd raise to $40 and push any turn.

Re: Taking a shot 100NL line check
Id either raise 40ish or depending on the player I might try a miniraise and call a push (if he does push), basically whatever u can do to get him or you to put it all in works.
calling has potential. edit: I didnt mention it, but stack size does make this slightly intresting because anything besides a mini raise looks like u might be playing for your stack with potential to shove turn, so thats why I think calling has potential but could be a tarded thing. |
