$1/2 NL Very Deep, Top 2
Stars $1/2. Hero is an unknown. I have $620, he covers me by $40. Villain opens to $8 UTG. folds to me who calls on the button with 68 hearts. Everybody else folds.
Flop: 8s 6s 2h Villain leads for $10, hero raises to $36, villain makes it $85. Whats the standard play here for really deep stacks? Is a push crazy? Do we ever fold to a push if I make it $200? |

Villain's UTG opening range is very, very important, but with no reads you can't 3bet and fold to a push.

Think of the best way to get it in. I would probably call and shove over a blank turn (blank meaning no paint/2). I think he has an overpair almost always here. I don't see how you can be this deep and have 0 reads though.

However, I doubt the villain has middle or top set (only 2 ways to make those hands) and if he has bottom set than we have a decent amount of outs. He almost surely has an overpair. |

Re: $1/2 NL Very Deep, Top 2
I'm "readless" because I'm 10 tabling. He seems to be pretty tight from my time at the table but I actually doubled up really quick off a fish that went busto. He hasn't gotten out of line.
By the way if the board comes a 5 of spades are we planning on pushing? Also, what if it comes a red J or Q? I feel if a non spade or 2 comes I have to go broke. Its too much of a guessing game of what overpair he has. |

I think calling and bombing a blank turn is best, by blank im thinking non spade. |

Re: $1/2 NL Very Deep, Top 2
his flop 3-bet is so small. really looks to me like he has an overpair that is just trying to find out if he's good and looking to fold to a 4-bet. if you think he is the type to say to himself, "i'm raising and folding to a 4-bet - oh well he 4-bet he might have a draw i'm allin." then 4-bet. otherwise i think calling and getting it in on a safe turn is preffered.
