Default hidden OESD no overcards. what to do.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

BB ($108.75)
UTG ($15.77)
MP ($103.62)
CO ($58.77)
Hero ($172.60)
SB ($41.80)

Preflop: Hero is Button with T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $0.50.
UTG calls $1, MP calls $1, CO calls $1, Hero calls $1, SB (poster) completes, BB checks.

Flop: ($6) 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (6 players)
SB bets $1, BB folds, UTG calls $1, MP calls $1, CO raises to $4, Hero.?

This might be standard however i have only played NL for a month now coming from LHE.

With all the limping it's real hard to put my opponents on hands and thus I'm not sure what to do.

flat call, hope it get everyone else to call behind, and look for your str8 on the turn... if you don't get there.... re-evaluate your odds and go from there...

Cold calling is fine. You've got position, your draw is concealed, and the other players are likely to call the raise as well. If you hit your draw, you will definitely win a large pot.

OP: What are you considering? Call/Fold? Call/Raise? You can't put any of your opponents on a range because nobody has really done anything, so what exactly did you hope to learn by posting the hand?

Not bashing, just curious. PM me if you directly reply to this.

FWIW, I call here.

Wanted to know if anyones raises here as we have position and have a chance to take a freecard on the turn should we not improve.

Maybe by raising big we might win the pot right there.

Free card play doesn't really apply here with so many guys seeing the flop. In NL, you should be more focused on the implied odds you have with your disguised draw.

Also, if you raise, and one of the other guys pushes, you just priced yourself out, something you can't do in LHE. Oh, and raising big is taking down the pot very rarely.

With this many opponents, I don't think this is a good spot for a big semi-bluff raise. I flat call and see what hits the turn.

Call. Remember that in NL as opposed to limit, your implied odds are fantastic. Only thing that would be bad here is a big re-raise, but other than that even if no one calls behind your call is good as you have the potential to stack the CO.

You MIGHT even consider a re-raise as a semi-bluff (to $12 at least, possibly $15). That could clear the field of other draws like QT, or small pairs, and improve your chances of winning. Plus you may take the pot right there (decent fold equity).
