I'm at a pseudo-level of famous where quite a few people recognize me, but don't know from where. I get "I know you from somewhere! How do I know you?" I ask a question to make sure that I'm really the person they think I might be. If they answer "Yes" then I tell them that, yes, they do know me from somewhere. Then I walk away. It's much more interesting if I don't tell them and they're left wondering. And no, it's not porn.

Oh come on. Like people don't know who Screech is.

It's not as interesting as it seems. Anyways, I've worked for various Indy wrestling companies, most notably Ring of Honor. I didn't think I really stood out or anything but pretty much everywhere I go I get questioned by fan boys about Christopher Daniels and AJ Styles. I'm also the guy who threw Teddy Hart's bags out of the locker room in Elizabeth NJ.

I was an uncredited lawyer in the movie The People vs Larry Flint.

I was in the Supreme Court scene behind and to the right of Edward Norton.

Ring name(s) plz.

And trip report on the Teddy Hart incident would be cool... there's plenty of people here who would find that interesting.

Ring name was my real name. I did work two matches, 1 vs. Carnage Crew and the match with Abdullah the Butcher (which I just narrowly escaped getting a cop killer from homicide, kevin dunn ended up getting in instead), but I was mostly a ref.

I originally blogged about the Teddy Hart thing here (which a lot of people have been looking for apparently!), but here is the relevant parts:

Now the stuff that went down, as I saw it, was: after the match Teddy Hart hit a moonsault onto the Backseat Boys who were outside the ring, without them being ready or knowing about it. This brought out the Carnage Crew (who had already gone to the back) who proceeded to whip both Hart and Evans with the leather strap. Hart was even asking “Why!?!?!” when he was getting whipped and he was basically told why ("You're a show-off, heat-stealing little bitch!"). Carnage Crew left the ring area and Hart made his way back into the ring and started doing more back flips. I remember saying to Paul that I thought it was a bit excessive. I started towards the back when Devito came charging out of the curtain again almost running me over. Loc was right behind him and we managed to keep him from getting into the cage. I realized that something was up, so I went back to the ring to escort Hart and Evans to the back. Once there Gabe took Hart aside and started talking to him and I went back to the ring to take down the cage.

Once I got back to the lockerroom it was made known that Hart would not be allowed in there. People were trying to calm Tony Devito down. Devito was by one entrance and the security with Hart started to take him towards the other. Devito saw this and made his way to the other door, with the entire locker room behind him. It was then that Hart’s bags and flashy outfits were called for. I took it upon myself to gather them up as I have no real problem with him at the moment and I want to avoid a scene. I stood there by him out side the locker room with his stuff in my hands telling him to get out to his car for about 5 minutes before I gave up and just dumped his stuff on the floor. Eventually the crowd around the entrance of the locker room dispersed and security was left with Teddy Hart. I stayed around too to make sure that he didn’t try to get into the locker room as for some reason he really, really wanted to talk to Devito. It was during this time that he tried sucking up to a couple of other workers who were walking by to get to the locker room. Neither were top tier talent, but Teddy tried to plead his case anyways. One one he noticed a cross and went on about God and Jesus and about forgiveness and shouldn’t he be forgiven and allowed to talk to Devito. He was also constantly putting over Rob Fienstien at every break “Rob, you are one of the greatest men walking this earth, I just want you to know.” “Rob Fienstien is the [censored] man, man!” He also went on and on about his uncles Owen and Bret and how Owen would do backflips after his matches and Teddy was just paying tribute to him and if he could borrow somebody's phone he'll call his uncle Bret and get everything straighted out, etc. Now, I was the only one there for most of his ranting, like I'm going to be able to do anything to help him. It got to the point where I asked for more security as I could not stomach standing around him anymore and was very close to hauling off and decking him. I went downstairs to watch the 4-way and eventually made my way back up to find that Teddy had finally been ejected. After the 4-way had ended Teddy had somehow gotten back into the building and the “incident” occurred.

I'll step back a bit first. When Teddy and Jack got behind the curtain, Jim Cornette, Alison Danger and others were waiting for their entrance. Cornette was trying to tell Teddy what he did was wrong and why. Not in the typical Cornette burn your eyebrows off rant style, but a real honest "I'm trying to reach out to you" way. Teddy said something along the lines of "Who the hell are you? I'm a Hart, you don't tell me what to do!" At that point Allison Danger let her feelings be known and NOT in the "I'm trying to reach out to you" way. Jack Evens calls Allison a bad name and thing break down from there. During the four-way match word gets back from the ring that if Teddy Hart is anywhere in NJ when Samoa Joe gets back that Teddy is going to die.

Teddy is still in NJ when the match ends. In fact, he's just outside the locker room. Some workers see Joe walking back toward the locker room with, um, bad things on his mind, yelling for Teddy Hart. I remember telling Rob Feinstien that he has to get Teddy out of there as he's just sitting there talking to him. The lockerroom empties into the hall to separate Joe from Teddy. Teddy is alternating between pleading with Joe and taunting him. The following is paraphrased:

Joe: I'm going to kill you you little punk!
Teddy: Joe! What did I do to you? We're friends!
Joe: You little bitch! Why are you still here? I'm going to knock your head off!
Teddy: You're just a fat [censored]! I'd like to see you try!
Joe: I've knocked out guys twice your size, there won't be anything left of you!
Teddy: Joe! Calm down! We're friends! Is Devito there?

They finally get Teddy out, but he hung outside doing backflips for fans until after the show when he came back in while the ring was being taken down and kept asking for Rob.

I don't buy the whole "concussion" excuase because he acts like that every time I've met him. BTW, Teddy isn't even a Hart. He's an Anus.

I took Faarooq and Bradshaw (JBL) out fishing for a story/photo shoot for WWE RAW Magazine. The photos of me and the guys fishing were used on several pages of the magazine. The day of that shoot was one of the best of my WWE career.

I used to be the lead singer for a FogHat cover band. Our name was HogFat. It didn't go so well.
