Re: Pics of My Chip Set
[ QUOTE ]
Excuse my ignorance, are these ASM chips or no? [/ QUOTE ]Yes- ordered through pokerchips.com. The graphics designer there did the design for me, along with a healthy dose of input from this forum. We must have done two dozen revisions and she was very patient and willing to work with me. It was a great experience all the way through, so if anyone is in the market for this kind of set, I highly recommend going this route. Thanks all for the compliments. They really did come out spectacular and so much of it was due to the input from here. |

I'm going to have to take the plunge and get some real clay chips one of these days when I'm feeling particularly robusto. |

Re: Pics of My Chip Set
How long did it take for them to manufacture? And are these the same chips they offer on PokerStars for like 41,000 FPPs?

Re: Pics of My Chip Set
It took about 3 months after I approved the design (we spent about a month on the design).
I believe these are the same chips you get from the poker stars VIP store; however, my guess is that for that you only get the single color edge spots (like my $0.25, $1, and $5 chips) and not the dual edge spots of the higher denominations. The cost per chip is about $0.20 higher for the dual edge spots. |

Re: Pics of My Chip Set
They look really nice. I'm thinking about getting a set made. I need to get a new monitor first, though. Did you get it with the nice wooden case and all? And does it come with like cut card/set up everything?
