If i go to the bathroom for the sole purpose of pissing i usually use the toilet. If im brushing my teeth or something and i need to take a piss i dont really see the point in using the toilet....you're already in front of the sink, might as well do the deed there.
And for those who dont know...to avoid spray, aim into the drain. If it has a cap, aim right underneath it so the piss goes straight down. And always run water..dont use too much pressure though or it will deflect the pee and then, well, god help u. gl

Almost everyone on my freshman hall claimed to piss in their sink, wish some even doing it in front of people in their room to drink. I had the room next to the hall bathroom, so never resorted to doing it in my own room.
I did get caught in my girlfriends room when they had a mandatory hall meeting. (all girls dorm) Really had to piss, and there was no way that I was walking through the meeting. So on went the water in the sink. Two things I learned then: 1.) Its really awkward to try and piss in a sink while trying to lean on a dorm door. 2.) You don't realize how bad you piss smells after a weekend of drinkin; Half a bottle of scented hand soap does little to curtail the smell.
