What's an ante? Oh a change in the structure of the game? I can't imagine how any strong poker player could possibly adjust within a 12 month period. Probably at least 6 months of playing just as tight as usual, noticing something isn't right, another 6 months of recouping our money at lower stakes non ante games. Another 6 months of losing again at the ante games, before finally reading this thread and realizing that the addition of an ante before the flop actually means we should change our preflop strategy. Retooling our new preflop strategy should take about another 6 months.

By then we find out they adjusted the ante by an extra 1/4th of a BB, so again we have to retool everything for another 3 months. Now finally we are ready to crack the top 20!

What about chip shuffling? I feel a good chip shuffle gives me at least a 5-6% edge vs my opponents.
