I got some mixed results on this. I'm not in love with this play, but I dont hate it either. The reason I checked the turn is because I think he gives a free card here a decent amount of time. After he bets it, I think pushing is clearly the best option. Overall, just a goofy hand. Villian calls and shows A5, and I flushed him down the drain.

Raising to $450 looks a whole lot better to me on the turn. I think it might actually increase your FE and also allow you to bluff shove the river (especially if its a club) and get a fold some of the time. Also if you hit 2pair or better then he might put you on missed clubs and call lightly.

Bleh, reraise preflop or fold ... it's not worth playing this OOP. You must have had some read to play it like this, so that read probably = that villian is LAG - so fold or reraise, rarely call. Flop is fine, and I like the turn, but really ... stats and past play would make this analysis so much easier. |
