I think you have to call this if you've just started playing with the guy. A lotta HU players just go nuts and bluff like every hand.

I don't agree with this. Folding isn't here isn't bad for metagame, for all he knows you have 7 high.

Besides, it would be fantastic if my opponent went nuts and bluffed every hand.

If he had bet the turn I would go to sd. As the hand played out I think there is actually less chance that he is bluffing on the river AND the pot is smaller.

Most people check the turn "defensivly" in this spot.
It is an explotiable maneuver that many people do not balance.

Most people will two barrel all their bluffs on this type of turn so when they check the turn their range is almost entirely composed of weak made hands and strong hands planning to checkraise.
You are beating basically no hands against this profile.

Against this exploitable common behaviour its a fold.

However, you are going to be checking behind a lot of your garbage in this spot, so if you ever have an opponent capable of leveling you, or checking the turn planning to c/r bluff air.. folding this hand will be folding way too much of your range.

People on average play exploitably enough for this to be probabily a fold in a vacuum...

If im trying to find out his tendencies ill def call this.

Maybe not @ 30/60 HU, cause I dont play that high....
If you dont think this is true, then call.

But from my experiences this is certiantly true,
some people try to c/r bluff in this spot but only the really agro ones.

i'm not positive calling this river is better than folding it, but i am pretty sure that you will lose more on avg calling down this flop c/r every time than calling this river every time.

30/60 hu i don't know anything about this guy except he raises most of his buttons and has done some pretty stupid postflop things but not enough for me to get much of an idea of how he plays

i raise q2o he call

k52r he cr i call
turn a he checks i check?
river a he bets quick i fold?

[/ QUOTE ]

i fold here vs. dudes who buy in for 10bbs and are waiting to dump it sometimes.

turn says "lolo i'm not bet/folding" river says "oh you don't have an ace"

problem is he could have a 2.

I bet the turn prob 1/8, call the river like 1/2.

Problem is if this guy is running a bluff he'll prob just do it again on the turn.
