call flop, raise turn

Yuk, no. Please stop doing this if you like money. One of the largest mistakes I see online are slowplays.

(The donk way of playing a set: donk has 77, villain holds KJs. Donk limps, Villain raises, Donk calls. Flop is A7Tr, donk checks, villain bets, donk calls. Turn is the 3r, donk check, villain checks. River is the Q, donk bets, villain raises, donk 3-bets, villain caps, donk calls and complains about the horrible suck outs.)

you are going to make more money against his trips when you raise the flop and he 3 bets. then you can consider getting fancy and calling, and then raising the turn.

Because he may very well cap and bet the turn. In that case, you missed out on an entire BB. Furthermore, the turn may come a spade and scare him out of betting. In that case, you missed out on a SB. He may have air and is completely not intending to bet the turn, but will call a 3 bet. That also costs you a SB. He may be looking to call your 3 bet with a ten, and check-raise you on the turn, that'd be awesome as you can 3-bet. Just raise. The typical gains outweigh the occasional time you may win an extra SB from him when he bets the turn, and calls your raise.

Looks like I've been outvoted here, but I don't see what's so bad about the call flop / raise turn line here in position in a heads up pot.

What low limit live player is checkraising this flop and then not leading turn if not 3bet? As well, even if villain has a T (which I'm guessing he does), I think there are a lot of turn cards that could slow him down if we 3bet this flop (any spade, any card > T, OMG, you have a flush or a big full house); if any of these scare cards come if only calling the flop then I think it is less likely villain will be scared to lead. I've seen little old ladies with the nuts call down once 3bet on the flop.

There's also the possibility that a villain with a T might 3bet us on the turn if a low card comes, simply not believing that we have anything since we just called the flop.

I hardly ever slowplay but isn't this the perfect opportunity to do so?

Pot is big, slowplay over. Get the money in while ahead.

You are correct, the one thing I did not take into consideration was the size of the pot; it is large, probably not the time to goof around...
