Re: 1.00-2.00......TT
Hmm.. He donks into preflop EP raiser + two players who all liked the A-high ragged, uncoordinated board enough to see the turn. Weird but probably something like a set or two pair hoping to get action from preflop raiser. Weird all the same.
Further, you might be way behind already, don't really have any draws to help and even if you are ahead can be easily outdrawn by overcards, a backdoor flush, and even a small straight (though not so likely with cold callers). Also with two villains behind you the action might get even nastier. Fold without reads. (Against a known tricky maniac making foolish plays I might sometimes raise to shutout others and try to get to showdown cheaply.) |

Has the meaning of donk changed ie does the hero donk into himself?

No - I was talking about the turn. He = SB, the Villain here, who bets into preflop raiser, ie Hero, + rest of the cast.

Re: 1.00-2.00......TT
Turn is an easy fold. Ask yourself: what do three people, who cold called preflop, call with on a A74r flop? (I even think the flop bet is debatable, but I can't really blame you with a 9:1 pot. At least it makes the turn fold easy.)
True, if SB is a retarded maniac, you may want to raise. But those players are actually quite rare. |
