Default Step up off my continuation bet fool!

No real reads, havent been sitting long. Ive been fairly active and am probably viewed as somewhat loose.

Party Poker
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $0.50/$1
5 players
Converter

Stack sizes:
UTG: $101.36
CO: $59.70
Button: $13.55
SB: $100.50
Hero: $171.60

Pre-flop: (5 players) Hero is BB with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

UTG calls $1, CO folds, Button calls $1, SB folds, Hero bets $4, UTG calls $4, Button folds.

Flop: 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ($10.5, 5 players)
Hero checks, UTG bets $8.57, Hero raises to $25, UTG folds.
Uncalled bets: $16.43 returned to Hero.

Results:
Final pot: $25.64

Like it? Hate it?

EDIT: Fixed the converter screwiness.

Uhhh, is the turn an A or a K...?

I like. I'm assuming the turn doesn't matter. Better with reads though.

Why? This puts a lot of pressure on my opponent. Im not risking a lot of money here, but Im potentially putting his whole stack at risk. Im not playing for stacks here, but Villain doesnt know that.

Hmm, wait... it was much better the way the converter screwed it up, lol.

Raise more pf and lead flop would be my line, cr'ing as the pfr'er seems bizzare to me.

I like it. People very rarely lead the 4 here at these stakes, so you don't have to worry about that much, so he's not calling with much.

Jam,
I have no idea why I didnt raise more, chalk it upto multitabling error. Lead flop is my standard, but I did this for the reasons I stated above. This is a once in a while thing, but I actually think a lead here might even set up me up to be blown out of the pot. Yeah I invest a bit more money here but its an easier situation I put myself into I think. Im willing to be persuaded that this was super donkish
