But how long can you be gone before they declare your seat open?

[/ QUOTE ]

Most casinos (including Potawatomi) allow to to take a 1-hour break to eat food, if you ask. There are some caveats, like you can't do it until you've had a seat at the table for awhile (like an hour), you probably would have to wait at least another 4 hours before asking for another meal break, and you generally can't get a meal break if there are 2 others at the table on break.

You go up to the podium and they'll write the time for you to come back on a little sheet of paper. You put that on your racked up chips at the table. They do allow people to play over so if you come back and someone is in your seat don't freak out too much.

I feel almost the same about the possibility of the friday 10/20 and saturday 20/40 games this weekend as i did about last weekend's games. The guys who came back from canterbury are iffier than I thought they would be so that's one cause for pessimism. But I still think there is a decent chance. I will be there at noon on both days.

I'll probably play a little on friday again if you're there to give me some more pointers Bradley.

The friday (oct 26) 10/20 got off the ground at around 2:30ish and there was a full table when i left at 10 p.m. Saturday (oct 27) the 20/40 was a bit disappointing. It started at around 3 and played only until 7ish. Also, it was 3 handed most of the time. I am very confident that the game will start earlier and play with more people this coming saturday (nov. 3). I'll talk more about that after tuesday.

Yeah, that was fun. My first time at 10-20 at Pot on Friday and it was a pretty decent table. I left between 11 to midnight and the table was just starting to shrink, don’t know how long it went on. I will be checking this space, please let me know if there is one going on this week Friday too… I will be there.

Will do, rounder. Right now I'm pretty sure we'll get something going again on Friday. I'll be there at noon and then it's just a matter of when the next few people wander in willing to play short handed to get the game off. So far, we've gotten one going every Friday that I'm there.

I will be in the poker room on Friday, Nov. 2 at noon for the 10/20 game. Last week it got off the ground at around 2 or 3 and I'm expecting something similar this week but I hope it goes off even earlier. Last week this game was really good so I'm hoping for the same tomorrow.

The 20/40 game on Saturday, nov. 3 will start at noon sharp. I've talked with some other players and we have enough to get it going. Things are looking up. See you there.

The games were really good this weekend. On Friday the 10/20 got off the ground at 1 pm and ran for almost 20 hours. The 20/40 on saturday started at noon and played until around 11 or midnight and then got kicked down to a 10/20 game which was still going strong when i left at 4 a.m. There's definitely a lot of momentum for these games right now.
