Default NL25: Set over Set

Villain had a set of 10's.

Was there any getting away from this?
Am guessing that I was just destined to get a felting on this one.
Comments?
Standard?

Comments on my raise on the turn? Was trying to get all of my chips in, the right move?

He can post this here. He's not complaining about it being a bad beat, he's asking if he could have gotten away from this one.

I think the answer is no. In my experience, there's rarely anything you can do in set over set situations. The board doesn't indicate anything that would suggest a laydown. I think your turn raise is fine given that the board is drawy. You don't want to make it cheap for villain to get to river.

Cooler.. for a fact. I am felted here too. My thinking is if he has set over my set, good hand and continue.
