Rolex Replicas?

There is an entire subculture of Replica Geeks that take this stuff very seriously. All those spam sites sell junk, but there a few reputabole dealers that sell some amazing replica watches.

Also google "Marias Best Watch" or "MBW Submariner" to read about the Keyser Soze of replica watch makers. It is a fascinating and intriguing tale, believe it or not.

The review of that watch in the thread shows just how seriously these people take this stuff. I was amazed and I don't amaze easily at the time and detail these replica geeks put into their hobby.

BTW, you can get a near perfect Rolex Sub for about 180 bucks. They even make a two toned submariner with solid gold 14k midlinks. These watches and the people that follow the scene are some real sickos.

I think this kinda of parallels the growing quality of cubics and other synthetic diamonds as substitutes for real diamonds. The real thing isn't so great when the substitute is near identical and much cheaper.
