Default $22s - Simple PF question. 99 after a limper with 19xBBs.

Limper is passive 30/2 in this tourney. I'm sorry for the lack of converter. Maybe that STT coder guy could make up a working converter for Party?

Because of the inherent threat of a reraise behind you it seems too thin to just call and play for set value.

I dunno, if you think that a raise to 250 will shut down the field behind you this would be a better option. Also, this move would gain extra strength if villain has a low flop aggression and is capable laying down to your c-b if he missed.

oh sorry, just though you wanted a quick answer. Well I'm calling for set value its 1/19th of your stack, there are also a few flops where you have overs. I dont like raising here because of the limper and any cbetting after the flop will make him pretty much pot-comitted. So that has too much risk imo. Folding is too weak 99 is a strong hand + you hve position

I might be very wrong here but shouldnt we/villain have atleast 20xBBs to call for set value?

I'm always lost with this...

yeah but 99 has more then set value to it, you could flop an overpair. I think I'm folding 88 here.

I posted a similar JJ hand yesterday and most people agreed it to be a raise to t350 in this spot.
