easy turn ch/rai. why did you ch/cal with so many draws out there??? half the river cards either kill your action or give him a better hand

as played super easy river push... you look like missed diamonds and get called by all kinds of 1 pair hands.

I think cs3 has it spot on. C/r flop, as played crai turn, as played push river.

IMO leading the flop like OP does is much better than C/R of flop. Only problem is he should be CRAI against this villain on the turn.

Lets villain get away way to easy on the flop with a C/R.

What hands are we putting the villain on here btw???
88/99 are pretty unlikely considering we have one of both in our hand. Someone this tight doesn't call with k8/k9.
If I had to guess, would probably be KJs+, Axd, with a lot of weight to the diamond draw/combo draw here.

i'm having major trouble putting this villain on a hand.

i know hero has an 8, but villain's hand looks like 88 (nice suckout, fish).

if he doesn't have that, i think he has some kind of draw.

i guess he could have a strangely played AK.

i'd check (and call if he shoves, obviously).

checking flop is bad...u don't want the villain to check behind wiht a draw, which he will if he's smart.

push the flop after he raises you. u can't call and check the turn becuase for the same reason u can't on the flop.

Sorry guys - misread hand. Right - c/r flop is bad. I meant raise flop or whatever *holds up hands*

[censored] just shove river. He has JT/88/65dd almost always and folds them never.

Paul, I dont see why you believe checking behind is good with a draw.

no hand folds on this flop. And instead there are alot of strong hands that are going to check-raise the [censored] out of your gut draw. so when you're in position with a gut draw and there's a good chance that the villain will check-raise you then it's just better to go ahead and check behind because when they have a good hand you'll get paid off well.

now you might say, what if he has an underpair that would fold to our bet. we still have incredible equity against that hand and it's unlikely that it'll bet into us on the turn again unless it turns a set.
