I just wrote my congress rep, here\'s how you can too!
For the first time in my life, I just wrote all three of my congress reps regarding the Unlawful Internet Gaming Enforcement Act. It's simple! Just visit congress.org and type in your zip code. You can simply fill out an online email form with a message like the one below. It took two minutes and should be done by everyone who would like to gamble online.
Congressman xxxx, I am one of your constituents and I enjoy an occasional game of poker online. Please support Congressman Frank's efforts to repeal the Unlawful Internet Gaming Enforcement Act. Thank you for your time.

Believe it or not, there are plenty of people who read/post here who have probably not written their representatives yet. Maybe when they see it enough they will, and if they still don't then this harms no one.. I see nothing wrong with keeping stuff like this on the front page.

I am not American, but I sincerely hope all U.S. Poker players take 2 minutes away from their busy online schedule to write this simple email.
Being an Aussie, I am worried as our government (John Howard anyway) tends to follow the U.S lead. It already happened in the States, the French are also heading that way....we are in some uncertain times. All the best of luck in this campaign.

How much influence would Joe Hachem have on Australian politics towards officially legalizing online poker in Austrailia (or preventing a ban of it)? Note: I have no idea what Australia's current laws are on the subject.
