Re: Heroes - 11/26 - A whole bunch of stuff going on
Wow. The last two eps were pretty good, but this one sucked. The little "I've been killed, blah, blah, blah" speech was awful and West's line after that (which I've thankfully already forgotten) was worse.
What's the point of Copycat girl and how does she fit in? Is her real power Super Bad Decision-Making? WTF with the boy wonder twin reading in English, and understanding admissions of guilt in English, while speaking no English? |

Re: Heroes - 11/26 - A whole bunch of stuff going on
sylar needs his own show, one without mexicans, unless its him going on a rampage killing mexicans for fun.
kristen bell is hot. hiro's line of 'i have to avenge my father' made me choke mohinder is super humanly dumb. every scene with claire was painful to watch. glad this show ends in a week. will be looking forward to doing something else on monday nights. will not watch again unless sylar gets to kill a lot of people next season. |

[/ QUOTE ] This scene + the everything with the mimic, especially the 'I just had an idea!' eyebrow raise when she decides to go after the crooks + Peter's stupidity were as bad as anything the show has ever done. |

Maya and Alejandro aren't Mexicans. They're from some country in Central America further south than Mexico.
In the episode Lizards Maya and Alejandro crossed the Guatemala-Mexico border on their way to the USA. |

Sylar and Milo McFaglia are the most metrosexual douchefucks ever. This show is beyond awful. Tim Kring should just off himself.
Also, Hayden P. is real hot, but she was done a great disservice when Kristin Bell entered. She just looks like a fat 13-year-old next to her. |

To paraphrase Anchorman in regard to the last scene:
Boy, that escalated quickly... I mean, that really got out of hand fast! Hiro: I'm here to stop Adam Peter: Can't let you do that Hiro: ALRIGHT LETS FIGHT! |

[/ QUOTE ] No. By all accounts the strike caused a change only in the planned ending of next week's episode (when they filmed the ep, they filmed two endings, one as a cliffhanger for the mid-season break, one as a finale). Other than that, everything is the same as it otherwise would have been. Though I don't know if alternate ending means 5 mins or 20 mins of next weeks ep. Other show runners have laughed these off btw, Scrubs creator said the studio pitched an alternate ending for the last prepared episode so it can act as the series finale which basically amounts to 'nothing is resolved, but at the end two people kiss', so I wouldn't have high hopes for next week (I also wouldn't have high hopes for next week cause this show sucks, but you know what I mean). I can't believe my beloved Veronica Mars got offered a recurring part on Lost and had to choose Heroes instead because they were willing to work around her other tv/film commitments. [/ QUOTE ] yea that pretty much sums it up. it would be one thing if this was the first completely stupid thing the writers did during the episode, but it was actually the third time they had made the exact same mistake. -for about two seconds i thought victoria was going to be an interesting problem for adam to deal with, putting doubts in peter's ear over a prolonged period. instead, adam does some gimmicky move, and she's dead. -for maybe one second i thought alejandro would pretend to disappear and follow maya/sylar to new york. instead he gets into a fist fight with sylar to "stop" him. we waited a whole season for these idiots to start getting in fights, and now that they are, the premise for every fight is completely retarded. wtf! |

We are calling them Mexicans because it's funny to call all hispanic people mexicans in a meta-post-ironic-racist kinda way. Also Mexican is easier to spell than whatever they really are. |
