Brag: Escaped dog attack
Yesterday evening I was walking near my home on my way to the store. I'm walking along for a few minutes and since it's dark I don't notice a few medium sized dogs on somebody's lawn.
They didn't pay much attention to me, so I decided that I'd just slowly cross the street. At that moment, a large (circa 100 lbs) brown dog OPENS the front door to the house walks outside and TOWARDS ME.. It wasn't barking or looking nice.. It wasn't moving fast.. but it wasn't moving slowly either.  A dog about this size was COMING RIGHT AT ME. BBV I knew it was time to do something. I could just freeze and pretend like I'm a statue, but I said screw that And I took off across the street, running as fast as I could!  I ran the fastest I ever ran in my life. I probably ran the 40 yard dash in 4 seconds. I next turned around and the dog wasn't chasing me. Phew.. Anyone else have any close calls like this one? Discuss! GOGOGOGOGGOGO

well done. i got chased by a dog once while i was going for a run, but it gave up after i got ~50yds from it's house.
