Default Re: Sklansky Bucks Calculator: PokerEV

Thanks Phil.

Read a post elsewhere (not yours) in reference to your Game Analysis Graph that said:

"basically your total equity = Sklansky bucks - showdown winnings + total winnings"

Can you comment on this?

I want to add it but haven't received any hands at all. Plenty have sent cash game hands but no SNGs. I really don't have time to go collecting them unfortunately, to get enough for error free support would take a while. As I said, I can add it quickly if I get enough hands.

Anyone who wants to help can use the form at http://www.pokerevsoftware.com/form/use/HHUploader/ , or attach them to an email to support@pokerevsoftware.com Of course they're kept confidential, and they still work if you do a search/replace of your screen name in notepad before sending.

That's basically right, but the trouble with the game analysis graphs is that they calculate over all streets, so difference between the SB and SD line can be skewed for certain styles (because you self-select the hands that go to showdown).

Does this work with tournaments at all? (MTT)
Sorry if I missed it somewhere.

well, my personal interest lies in HUsngs. I only have about 10k hands on this computer (9k stars, couple of k FTP) but Im more than willing to send them to you if that would do any good.

Also Im very very sure that the HU forum and a couple of my friends would provide you with tons of hands on request.

my 10k hands are surely yours , just say one word.

Someone was kind enough to send a heap of PokerStars tournaments, but I don't have any Full Tilt. Even a few would be helpful.

Not a this time. I think it's probably a less useful concept for MTT as I'd imagine luck relative to remaining stack size and position in the payout structure is probably more important than total chip EV. For STTs it's relatively easy to work this out and get a meaningful figure (as opposed to just raw t-chip EV), but it's harder to do for MTTs.

Default Re: Please help me finding my leaks

Hello!

Since I started playing on NL200, I have a big downswing. The problem is, that PokerEv shows me, that I should have a lot of leaks.
So I used alot of filters (cbets, flushdraws and so on) to find my leaks, but I couldnt find some or I dont understand the statistics. Thats why I would be very happy, if anyone could check my stats and graphs in order to find my leaks.

First of all, my Game Analysis graph (NL 100 + NL200, 37k hands)

On the 29. August I started playing also on NL200 (NL100 and 200 parallel). What could be the reason, that I have much of showdown winnings (blue line), but my total winnings (green line) are so low? Maybe postflop leaks?

My Pokertracker stats: VPIP: 7, PFR:5, ATS: 12, PostflopAggression: 2,8 Went to Showdown: 28, Won@Showdown: 49,8

statistics for NL100 + 200:

statistics only for NL200:
Total winnigs in 9500 hands: -800$, Equity Adjusted -488$
Won W/O Winnigs (what is it?) -1001$, Showdown Winnigs + 182 $
% +EV where PIP>o: Showdown 49,6, Non Showwown: 20,9
Won@Showdown (pokertracker): 47

statistics only for NL100:
28k hands, total winnigs: 490$, eyuity Adjusted: 422$
Won W/O Showdowns: -1050 $, showdown winnigs: 1560$
Equity +EV where PIP>0: Showdown 54,6 - Non Showdwon 23

comment: I cant understand, why I have a good winrate and equity on NL100, but such a bad on NL200. I mean, that on NL200 there are the same loose fishes as on NL100, I havent found any difference between the two limits.
Is it possible, that I just have bad luck on Nl200 (although my equity is negative), because I run very often with KK against AA or against a set on the flop?
Really interesting is the statistic, when I put the "all hands, where Net Win< 0 (negative Eyuity)" filter on: total winnings: -6700$, Eyuity Adjusted: -4130$.
What does it mean?

Analysis for NL100 and 200:

luck graphh, just Allin in

luck graph: Allin with total winnigs:

Why do I ghave a lot of winnigs in "just Alllin" and so much lost in "Allin with total winnigs"?

Last but not least I would like thank Phil for this genius programm!!!!

You guys should check this out. Instead of an earned value calculating program, here's somebody selling a new game that is essentially "earned value poker". He's trying to license it to an online poker site. I'd like to give this a try and see what happens.

Wouldn't this kill the fish stone-dead in record time?

Could probably do with a proof-read, too:
