dunno, since we're losing 2% every time we make an exchange, isn't it always best to use USD regardless of how strong or weak the dollar is?

Didn't know Canada had oil...

[/ QUOTE ]

rofl

The largest deposits of oil in the world are Venezuela and Canada.

"Canada's deposits...estimates range from 1.6 trillion to 2.5 trillion barrels of bitumen (which is also called "oilsands" or "tar sands"). About 9% of the deposits are relatively close to the surface and should have very high recovery rates -- at least 50% and possibly up to 90%. Combining this with a very modest 5% recovery rate for the deeper bitumen, and the country's total potential reserves can be estimated at 174 billion to 271 billion barrels."
-2003 National Post article

The reserves in the ENTIRE Middle East are 600 billion barrels.

Canadian oil happens to be mostly "heavy oil" which is more difficult to pull out, but Canada is often referred to as the next oil superpower in terms of potential resources.

I have no clue about economy but isn't it true that a fall in currency indicates decline in economy?
