Thats cos he thinks "zomg i have trips i'll tarp that fool". No way you can fold there. During play you get a million of marginal decisions where you can make your heroic laydowns, but not in this spot, you've just thrown away money here.

I had pocket aces once and the flop was A88- I check raised and the dude pushed all-in. WTF- he has pocket 8s and I should fold. Unfortunately I called and sent him my $121 stack when he showed the 88. This was heads-up! Man, I wish I had card reading skills like OP.

I agree that his line looks like he's slowplaying, but it's still a lone 7 often enough to get it all in here I think.
