After he calls the reraise, my goal was to try to see a cheap showdown. I think I may be beat by the river.

stats would help here.I mean,teorically u don't beat anything.
AK/AQ obv beat you.
Ok,the raise came from the BTN,so it could be a smaller ace,but a lot of smaller aces here have two pair.
Plus,this guy betted .75 into 2.85 pot.WHAT?
Then he called yor raise and started betting higher...

MMHH.
This line usually means : hello i've a great hand, but i'm betting weak to get some money.
Then you say you'r also strong and so he starts heavy betting.
I guess that if u trust your hand is good you have to lead the turn.

Oh,and btw, this could be easily handed pf.Raise him and that's pretty easier.

Rocco

Haven't played many hands with villain. Over 30 hands, he is 21/7. Pretty aggro PF, other than that, just a regular donk. He called down with 99 on a Q high board, and lost obv. Nothing else was spectacular.

I'd raise to 4.50 preflop, not too sure what I'd do on the flop if he calls since everyone usually folds if you were to raise to 4.50 there.

If I play hands like AJs or KQs out of position, I re-raise before the flop (unless the pot is multi-way).

I really think you need to bet this turn. 8-10 bucks is a good range. You leave of money on the table in this situation.
