Default Need good headphones.

I've seen a few posts on here about iTunes audio quality and mp3 players in the car, so I figure this isn't too far off base. If it isn't right for this forum, I apologize.

I'm looking for a decent set of headphones (not ear-buds, don't you even dare suggest them!) for listening to tunes and games on my laptop late at night. (I have external speakers, I just like to plug into them some times to crank it when it's late. ..Like right now.)

Most important to me is comfort. Second is some good low end. Not a ton, but definetely a presence.

So yeah, any suggestions? I'm hoping to spend under $200, and preferably under $150. But I'll gladly accept any help here. I don't even know where to start. (Feel free to link to a site that reviews audio stuff, much the way Tomshardware reviews computer stuff.)

I was in the market for quality headphones not too long ago myself and did 2 weeks worth of research.

I finally decided on the Audio-Technica ATH-A900.

They're closed cans, so they block out noise and are quite comfy, even after hours of wearing them. They fit over your ears, not on them, which was important to me as well, again, for comfort.

Got them Here.

If you're not a fan of those, I'd take a look at Head-Fi.org and do your own homework there.

GL and HTH.

I was looking over the summer and decided that the best quality for the best price was

Audio-Technica
QuietPoint
ATH-ANC7

They are noise canceling and only about $125. They are comparable to the Bose Quiet Comforts.
