Default Resolution Needed for Multitabling

I am reffering to tables that are not resizable. For example I know that at 1600x1200 4 tables fit perfectly on the screen. However I've seen people playing many more then 4 tables on a screen before and it doesnt look like there would be a problem with the tables being to small. Can anyone help me out i'd really appreciate it because I'm looking to buy a new monitor and don't want to get one that is to small. Thanks.

I don't think I understand your question. Almost every not-resizable table is 800x600. If you want 2x2=4 on your screen, you're gonna need 1600x1200. If you want more tables than that, you'll need ... more.

Obviously anybody you've seen with more tables on their screen either had smaller tables or a bigger screen. They probably resized them, so that seems contrary to your question.

The only reason I'd ever get a monitor with resolution greater than 1600x1200 is because I'm getting the 30" dell with 2560x1600. When you can get the Samsung/Dell 20" with 1600x1200 for <$300, I see no reason to get anything else unless you're stepping up to the badass monitor.
