This page of this thread has also been amusing.

I don't even care that I lost money on this game. Seeing edge act like this is just great.

I said that false start probably cost us the game. That statement has been agreed with.

[/ QUOTE ]

the problem with this is you are using the EXACT kick made from 29 and just slotting that into 5 yards closer....thats whats retarded...the correct thing to do is look at 24 yarders vs 29 yarders and see if these a difference. one has argued that 24 is actually MORE difficult.

[ QUOTE ]
That pass interference no-call, aside from being nowhere NEAR the only questionable call in the game, was , to be fair, very close.

[/ QUOTE ]

ok, fine. i will side with the rulebook though and it says it was PI...also you have to understand the frustration of non clocts fans at that call because if that was dallas clark the chances of that being PI seem to go thru the roof.

PLO8,
I will start with this one. What years did Peyton not have outstanding surrounding talent?

A solid 24-yarder in those conditions is MUCH easier than a 29-yarder.

[/ QUOTE ]

I'll ask you for a 3rd time. define "MUCH". in %'s, how much easier is it?

[/ QUOTE ]

There may not be a number. I kicked in HS and college for 5 years. I would say in [censored] conditions it could be as much as 50% or as little as 10% easier depending on a whole bunch of things, wind, rain, turf quality, etc.

Does that help?

Why do people keep saying that the difference was that 5 yard penalty??? The Colts were going to just let the play clock expire and would have been penalized those yards anyways. The only way that penalty could have changed anything was if SD would have jumped offsides.

[/ QUOTE ]'

Actually watch Dungy right as he sends Manning on the field he mouths either "snap it with 1 second" or "Timeout with 1 second". Anyone with Tivo/DVR help me out here? This would help in this discussion.

Cody

[/ QUOTE ]

I saw that and assumed he said said snap it with one, but it was a ruse, he told him to take the delay, but wanted the d to think a snap was coming cus he said it so obvious like im retarded right now but you get my theory i think.

Please change Edge's custom title to "kicked in HS and college for 5 years"
