This is kind of close between push, call, and fold to the preflop raise. Since villain is a big stack and on the button, his raise could be loose, so I like a limpreraise.

I think calling preflop is the worst option, as you do it only as a set miner investing 20% of your stack, where it will be very hard to get the implied odds you need if you hit the set (you can't be sure MP3 will stay with you).

So I think this is pushing vs. folding and you would be very happy to have any reads here - without it's a fold for me (against an unknown i'd push 88+ here).

Raise/fold preflop. I usually fold. As played, I can't fault what you did really but preflop is not v good. I would rather see a shove than a call after you limp.

yeah well its my own fault really, half of me wanted to bust out so I could go out and the other half wanted to try and win this thing, hence the limp/call. Just wondering really if I should have just pushed over the top or fold but now i know
