Default To jam or not to jam

This is a FTP HORSE game, mostly tight and fairly passive, the amount of people involved after my initial raise really surprised me.

7 Card Stud High-Low ($2/$4), Ante $0.40 (converter)

3rd Street - (1.60 SB)

Reraise 3rd? What factors are you looking for? I"m fairly new to stud so the more details the better. Apologies if this is basic....

Seat 7 completed & then reraised you...shows alotta strength. All you have are 3 spades with the 1 spade dead & a 4 dead that could help your hand....what if seat 1 is on a spade draw also?? That would mean alot of dead spades in a multiway pot.

I'd just call & re-evaluate 4th.

I agree with this also. I don;t see the need for your raising there and your hand is not yet powerful to be putting in such a raise.

A lot. Your low draw is not strong enough to start jamming, and your high draw is a bit weak but far from a lost cause.

Jam away. It is highly unlikely you are not a money favorite multiway, and your hand is strong heads up as well.

There is no reason to fear the bring-in. He probably has something good but the only hand he could have that would really cut into your equity multiway is roll-ups, and I seriously doubt he would open-complete roll-ups. (Given how loose the other players are probably playing I don't think the bring-in having something like A23s is enough to make you a money dog... I could be wrong though.)

I'm not sure I like you original reraise though. With an ace exposed and lots of low cards behind you anyway I would just try to get the pot as multiway as possible. In some kind of really big ante game you probably would reraise.

I would just call, I would rather keep people in the pot. you have some scoop potential and folding people out isnt going to help that much if any.

Depends on whether or not you like money. Assuming you do in fact like money I strongly suggest jamming.

Yes, jam that hand in that spot every time. It may be that you'll catch brick - brick, and be forced to fold, but that doesn't make jamming any less correct. Regardless of the other's hole cards you have much more than your share of equity. An added benefit of jamming it early is that you're correct in peeling on a 4th st total brick, and peeling again if you catch any spade or decent low card on 5th. With these sort of hands, what happens a lot is you build a big pot and correctly take it to showdown and catch a perfect card late to scoop a 3 or 4 player pot.
