So I have 21K in one of the 4-seat 1.10s. I'm good to Fold into the seat right? 7 players left.

[/ QUOTE ]

Well my fiance yelled at me to turn it off and go to bed (WTF right?) so I made a [censored] call with QQ and 21K of a short stack with 6K who had been pushing every hand in an effort to finish it up quicker. Of course his A4 flops A4x, turn A. I still managed to hang on and win a seat...but that was stupid.

[/ QUOTE ]

Meh I thankfull watched the largest stack at the table call off half his stack (we were so even it was sick) with AA and busted an open jamming 66.

Some of the play = horrendous, but I think the shorthanded nature of the 1.10 bubble means that HUGE dominating stacks can and should afford themselves leeway to take a flip with strong hands sometimes; a 40k stack calling off 6k with AK doesn't hurt his equity at all and can save us 30 minutes of bubble BS :P.

[/ QUOTE ]

In my experience there is always at least 2+ morans who lose patience and will screw up late. I see no reason to splash. Yesterday (in a 1.10) I came in 8/9 and basically folded in - stole the blinds and restole once and watched the others shoot themselves in the foot.

These are all the reasons I like sats that pay lots of seats, at least two tables worth. Much easier to just sit out and coast into the money.

Please bring back the hourly $6.00 round 1 tubos.

Saving some seats to run some huge multi sats on the day of the event?

Or saving seats to let people buy in directly.

Though that is hugely -EV for Stars....Sat fees are goldmines.

i'm 6/26 in the 70 fpp sats.
i haven't played any of the other sats

btw, 14k registered already.... 20k is certainly not far-fetched, and 25k may be possible, which would make 1st place worth more than 30k.

juiciest tournament of the year? i really hope they run these every week with the same strong push through sats. maybe next week it will be 200k guaranteed.

edit: WTF only 15k allowed. on that note, it may be a good time to register.

Much better.

Well 200k would be cool too, but the ability to get there way more frequently would be nice.

If I were running stars I would add another tourny with same structure/buyin ect that starts 1 minute after this one and add a smaller prize pool. Kinda like a second chance and then run stats to that also. How many people on stars don't know that you can unregister for T's? I bet many.

There is clearly a demand for micro events that filter into a huge prize pool tourny. I would love a three stage tourny structure with 2.2 sats running into an 11 dollar sat that then ran into a 55 dollar tourny.
