Who said anything about limping. I'm perfectly fine raising any pair in position, but here you're OOP against two crazy people who will rarely release their hands, and the FE that raising a small pair normally generates will not be there.

When making my post, I was referring to Tien's 6-max Fundamentals post where he said to raise all pocket pairs. I decided not to raise here because I figured I would get called by hands like J8, J9, K9, etc. which these donks like to play. Basically garbage hands preflop that smoke me on the flop if I don't hit my set. I figured if I did hit my set, I still might not win a big pot unless someone was willing to chase a draw. I typically raise all PPs because of how it disguises my holding. If I can get heads up my c-bet takes down the pot most of the time; or if I hit my set against someone holding AQ-AJ on an A high flop, I'm usually going to stack them. Thanks for all your input.
