Villian was maniac. I had not played a lot of hands to this point. I limped in which is very rare for me. I almost enever do this but I knew he was going to raise and I wanted to try and get in soem pots with this guy before someone else busted him. I was hoping that everyone else was kind of on the same page. (That was my lame excuse for limping in) After that I was lost and a little on tilt from a different hand on another table. Only history with this guy really was that he bet me off a hand in which I rr pf a few orbits earlier.

Unless this maniac reraises a ton then I still prefer raising preflop. As played it looks fine. You might be able to fold to him potting the turn but he is a maniac so it's prob fine. His river bet is an obvious blocker bet so I think he has a weak made hand. The questions now are:

1. Does he have a better made hand then us?
2. If he does, will he fold to a raise?

Mostly though I think just getting to showdown like you did is fine

Don't like preflop. Postflop looks fine as long as he definitely is a maniac.
