Default Wrongly Awarded Pot at Pacific (yet again?)

I played a hand at Pacific, where a villain called my river bet, had his cards mucked by the software, and then split the side pot with me.

The hand history is attached below. I apologize, but no converter exists.

I e-mailed Pacific, who told me the pot was split because villian (bellayus) had pocket 8s as well. In light of all the problems experienced by other players in the other Pacific thread, I'm reluctant to take their word that the software correctly awarded the side pot. More frankly, I don't quite care whether villain had 8s as well. If Pacific mucked his hand, the side pot belongs to me.

Thoughts?

Does not look like he showed down his hand to me.....Muck means surrender? Right?
