Villain has been playing solid, nothing out of line that i've seen. possibly 2+2er. My range on him was Q6, possibly 65 or 66 or some weird semi-bluff. Can I fold this?

by did something stupid do you mean not raising preflop?

it sure looks like Q6 if he's not a donk, if he's a donk obv call though. but, raise preflop and don't get into this spot...

yeah i guess raising pf is the best play, i had a set at another table though and wanted to focus on that hand. that wasn't what i ment by doing something stupid though. he wasn't a donk but i think he might have thought i had a weak Q he could push me off if he was on a draw, calling on the turn kinda sucks since his implied odds are bad and he might be drawing dead. the river bet screamed i have Q6 plzz calcalcall! or i have nothing fold your QJ plzz!

That's a weird hand. Villian's bet sizes look odd - I guess 66 or 56 look the most likely holdings. If he's done nothing like this over a lot of hands then betting twice the pot at the end probably screams a monster more a lot than enaything else. I'd hate it but maybe folding is best. Against an unknown who bet the hand like that though I'd probably call.

Yeah the minraise is pretty suspicious... if he raised a normal amount on the turn it might be easier to call down as a missed draw bluff is more likely, but really, who minraises on the turn with just a draw, and who coldcalls pot sized raise on the flop OOP with just middle pair... He *should* have you beat here but I dunno, pretty sure in reality vs an unknown I'm calling Zeebo theorem style [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]

ok weell.. i actually folded [img]/images/graemlins/shocked.gif[/img], he mucked then another player said he folded a 6.
later he told me he had 55 and I was like really? me too [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img] so i guess it was a semi-bluff.
he did overbet with big hands as well though.
