Default AK hit trips in position. Extracting value.

First time I see that villain at my table. We've played a few orbits he seems quite bad, limp/folding a lot preflop. On 30 hands he is 50/12/3.

What do you think of flop play ?

What's his range ? I put him on middle pair/flush draw. If he's got a K, well, we'll go all-in for sure.
What's the best action on the turn seeing preflop/flop action ?

to edit your post, you need to hit the 'edit' bitton next to the reply button. If it is past 30min of your post, that button will cease to exist and you will just have to make your changes within the thread with a new post.

As for the hand, against this type player I would just call the flop and give him some rope. When looking to get full value out of a monkey like this, doing the fundamentals to build this pot is not as important. This is because they often have no concept on relative hand strengths and/or pot control and how it may relate to bet sizes throughout the hand.

As played, you might as well bet the turn. You have $143 left with the pot at $129. Make it $60 or so. This will guarantee a call on the river if called now whereas a shove now may be a bit too intimidating. It also may induce a shove from him now. If he is folding for $60, he certainly don't have anything.

Also (and this comes up alot in this forum), people need to understand how the betting on each street affects everyones line, play, and aspirations. It is rare that 3 streets of value go into the middle. If that is the case then there is no questions in the hand because someone usually got cold decked. So if you want to maximize here, remember the later the street, the bigger the bets. Thus if you just call on the flop, come turn that bet will be bigger (whether it be by c/r or just betting out).
