I would really reconsider the whole 'playing at AP' thing

[/ QUOTE ]

unfortunately, i used a bank wire transfer a couple days ago to take about 60k out. I can't take anymore out until next week b/c of withdrawal limits.

When all's said and done, I imagine the story of this whole thing would make for a pretty sweet magazine article or book.

[/ QUOTE ]

I was just expressing this thought to my non poker-playing roommate, while mentioning that a lot of people might not be psyched about bad press for internet poker. His response: "Just put something in Harpers or some [censored], nobody who matters will read that."

But wasn't AP sold to Ultimate bet?

Is Scott Tom still an owner or did he get a bunch of cash from UB?

[/ QUOTE ]

If AP was sold Scott Tom might now be an ex-owner/employee or hold a lower position in the company perhaps. Probably would be some good info to have.

Jesus, this thread doesn't stop amazing me. So... would this mean the same kind of stuff could be done at UB, since it belongs to the same owners? Anyway, I dont feel safe having any money on UB anymore, so Ill refrain from depositing.

Awesome detective work going on over here.

Whoa, time out here. The IP address that appears to have been feeding Potripper everyone else's hole cards is tied back to the residence of one of the owners of AP?

WTF?

Mark introduced me to Scott at the Five Diamonds in 05. Scott told me how him and three of his frat buddies started AP. If I remember right Scott was selling out back then. I didnt see him at any of the WSOP 06 functions.
