I like a c/r or to get the rest in on the river if he's not betting. He's not likely drawing to more than 5 outs and you allow him to hang himself with hands like 5X, AQ, KQ, QT that he might otherwise fold.

Errr, definitely not a standard value bet. You bet into 3 players after raising big preflop and you expect him to either float that flop with a bare Q or call the turn shove with something like 8's? I doubt it. I check this turn, and reevaluate the river.

He cbet into two players, not three and I expect him to float with overs or a medium pair quite often. Hero could easily have a hand like AK here.

Sorry, meant 3 way.
Why exactly do you expect him to float here? Because you float? Even most villains at this level don't float in multiway pots with players left to act behind them.

Even if he is capable of having a medium pair or a bare Q here, he will still most likely fold those to another bet and also check those behind.

Hmm... I think you overrate the players at this level. They do float, just because they hope you have two overs or a 5 and they have the best hand with a medium pair.

I agree that if he has a medium pair or QX he will often fold to a bet, that's why I proposed the c/r. If he bets this turn it could very well be QX, a 5 or a medium pair and we are still ahead of his range IMO. We can always get it in on the river of he checks here and he is not likely to outdraw us.
