Default Advice on men\'s suits.

I'm looking to buy a suit for a September wedding and also want the suit to double for "clubbing" in Vegas. I have no idea what to look for or where to look. I'm 26, 6 foot, 170 lbs. Price? I really don't want to spend more than $400 for everything. Not sure if that is going to get me very far. Thanks for any feedback.

Men's Wearhouse has sportcoats from $100 up and has suits from around $200-ish up. You can get a decent suit there for half a grand or under, including tailoring, especially if there's a sale.

I have always gone the Dillards/Mens Wearhouse route... I am in a suit a fair amount and I have always found that those places have great suits for < $500. It also includes the tailoring, which is nice. You're obviously going with a black suit since it's for a wedding/clubbing, right?

I doubt you are going to find a suit that works for a wedding and "clubbing." When I was looking for interview suits a while back we looked at Nordstrom's and then Men's Warehouse, the suits at Men's Warehouse did not compare very well with the one's at Nordstrom's.

Disregard the advice you have gotten thus far. You'd be better off making your own suit than going to Men's Wearhouse.

Go to Macy's, or Nordstrom or wherever and look at some of the clearance stuff. I have gotten fantastic Ralph Lauren, Oscar Delarenta, Hugo Boss, DKNY, Perry Ellis, Nautica, and quite a bit more for aboout what you're looking to spend.

When they want the stuff out, they really knock it down really far.

Don't buy cheap suits. People who know, KNOW. It's not good.

Especially if you're going to be trying to achieve coital acts with club broads. They smell your fear when you're just trying to pass. So do it right.

Thanks for the advice. I'm kinda diggin this one;

Three button, two button? Does it matter? What makes it obvious to people if the suit is a piece of [censored] or quality?

I got some very nice Calvin Klein suits at Men's Wearhouse. Hate is exaggerated. They do have some cheap stuff, but you don't have to buy it.
