During the top of the, within 5 minutes, Russ Adams slams the Sox and Rivera strikes out Moore looking to end the game. Crowd was delirious.

I think the point of the "no entering in the middle of an inning" rule is that they didn't want him to have to rush warming up. That wasn't a problem tonight because he was warming up before the inning started.

Really, what's the difference between entering in the middle of an inning or the beginning if there's no one on base and you've had as long as you want to warm up? I'm all for protecting Joba from Torre, but this seems fine to me. They followed the spirit of the rule.

Another thing somebody told me was that during an interview with Torre it sounding like he said something about Moose being the 4th starter in the playoffs. Is this true?

Will Halladay be on a pitch count? I know Kazmir was last time BOS faced him.

What about Wang? I would think he would be somewhat limited in order to rest for the post-season. I think that Beckett would be on a pitch count if it wasn't for the Cy Young race and still might be.
