Default 200 NL: I either love or hate how I played QQ here ...

Second orbit or so at the table. I have MP1 at 17/11/5 after an insignificant number of hands. Never played with BTN before, but he's been pretty passive since I sat down.

Comments on all streets appreciated.

Bet the flop, shove if reraised.

As played, either raise the turn to about $100 or just Shove the turn after the bet. If not there then definitely shove after the reraise. Just calling is terrible.

Why?

I assume you would rather shove over BTN's bet?

What's so terrible about calling (I mean, if the money is going in anyway)?

Well your stack to pot ratio is 1.8 so i assume you were committed on this flop. If thats the case why are you checking? You want to figure out how to get all your money in by the river. I am almost advocating a push here and hoping to get called on the flop. You can not play this hand so passively. If you are scared ur beat here than fold and start playing bridge. If not - BET.

I think he's wondering when you were going to announce to the table that you had what you thought was the winning hand. Apparently you thought it was better to wait until somebody made a boat on the river.

Well, we're 3-way to a flop in a 3-bet pot. I do have an overpair and an open-ended straight draw, but there aren't a lot of hands I'm ahead of that call a bet on the flop. I mean, since it's a 3bet pot 99+ all beat me and AK/AQ are drawing slim, so free cards aren't really too bad.

That can easily be accomplished on two streets with the stacks and pot size.

That's the worst available option.

No better hands are ever folding if I bet, and I can't see many *likely* worse hands that are calling if I bet. Just because I played it passively doesn't mean I'm playing it scared.

If somebody boated up on that river, I didn't have the best hand, so I don't get your point.
