Default SB Forum -- March Madness Pool

I was thinking it might be fun to do a March Madness pool for members of this forum. So, here are some polls to determine if there is enough interest and what format/buyin/etc people would like. Performify, if this is not kosher, feel free to delete (I saw another forum running a similar contest, so I thought it would be alright).

Hell ya lets do this.

Probably enough interest to run a couple of these with different buyins.

Only points per seed is interesting. I have 3,456,789 other bracket pools with the 2^n scoring, I don't need another.

This can easily be done in something like Yahoo (I am sure there are others). Someone could create a group and then everyone else just join the group.

Yeah, I was definitely thinking Yahoo would be the easiest to set up. The only thing I'm not sure of is if there is flexibility on the scoring system used.

Looking at the results of poll question #1, I'm thinking perhaps there should be two pools, a $10 with unlimited entries per person and a $50 or $100 with 1 entry per person. Thoughts?

I'm definitely in.

Please PM me after this thread gets deleted.

Performiry and all - Not to rain on your parade, but Mason has recently said in About The Forums that organizing NCAA pools is strictly forbidden on 2+2 now.

Kind of strange that they wouldn't alert the mod of the forum where this is most likely to take place.
