I know he's better known for The Wire, but I just can't see him without thinking about throwing Drama over the rail.

I'm watching Season 2 right now, but the rental disc for the last few episodes is messed up, and no one in town has it. I tried getting the episodes from that super-secret-bad-place-we-cannot-discuss, but one of the episodes (#10) won't play. Can someone who is a big fan of the show give me a brief overview of what happens in that episode (Season 2, Episode 10)? Thanks.

I would say Sergei Malatov from season 2, it's actually quite amazing since I'm russian and the actor has completely sold me on being russian as well, until i randomly looked him up on IMDB and he turned out to be some american actor from the south with not a drop of russian blood in him.

That might be the episode where McNulty gets double teamed at a bordello sting and the major crimes unit + swat walks in on them after he gives them the word...I'm serious.

Pretend its an epic novel. You have to get past the first few chapters before it envelops you. You're right at the point, though, where you'll either become a fan or decide it's not your style. Episode 6 or so is where things start to kick off.

I guess it's not my style, I'll finish the season I think, but I just finished ep 10 and I don't think it's brought any sort of excitement or emotion from me at any point. There's not even really anything that I'm curious about how it's going to end either. What's the attraction to this show? It's a serious question btw, I'm not trying to just rip on it. Don't just say "it's awesome" either because that doesn't tell me anything.

It's not that one...it's the very NEXT episode, though, as that was the last ep I saw.
