Texas Flood might very well be my favorite album of all time.

Brag: My blues band at the time had the good fortune to open for SRV's back-up band, Double Trouble (Tommy Shannon & Chris Layton), in Austin, Tx, a number of years ago. Their band at the time was Storyville. I met and hung-out with them backstage; they are nice guys and of course great players.

Beat: This was well after the death of SRV, and I never got the chance to meet him.

Variance: After our set, a super-hot groupie chick in the crowd came on to me and we made out. We went out a couple of times, but not surprisingly, she would not sleep with me.
