Earlier this year while we were shooting craps together TJ called me a "natural born shooter" during my roll. I'd never been more sure that I was going to be busto the rest of my life.

I posted this after last year's WSOP -

My buddy and I stayed at the Rio July 21 - 24. TJ was playing craps there every night that we were there. The first night I watched for a while and he had a rather large stack of $100 chips in his hand and a few in the rack. He lost all of those and then moved to a different table. He reached in his pants and took out some more $100 chips. I watched a little more and then went to bed (around 2:00 AM).

Each night I watched he seemed to be playing with less chips. The last night he was using red ($5) chips. Don't know if this means he had blown all of his WSOP FT winnings.

An interesting story, my buddy always bets "don't pass" whenever he plays with TJ. He grinds it out this way to get in his hours for our comps. Last year TJ threw a 'leaner' that made my friend a winner. TJ complained and they changed their decision and re-rolled the dice. So my friend got very angry and said that was total BullS... and that they only did it because he was a famous poker player. He got very loud and almost got into a pushing match with TJ (who is still a large guy). Eventually, they kicked my buddy out of the Rio.

Has anyone thought that maybe people like PH are paying TJ back for past favors when they were first starting out?

exactly my point. how have people that care about him let this go on like this all these years?

[/ QUOTE ]

TJ was a winning horse for many years. Anyone that really cared had to have been pushed aside by those who did not want to upset the apple cart and have their horse not earn for them.

[ QUOTE ]

I overheard Flack talking to Johnny Chan about an offer he was making on a $1.7-$1.8M house.

[/ QUOTE ]

NFW. Maybe Flack was telling Chan that he was so hard up for cash that he was considering an offer to burn down a $1.7-1.8M house as an insurance scam.

#1.) Harrahs offering a beatable table game has got to be a joke.

#2.) Do you realize how sick a BR you would need to competently play/count $3K a hand at BJ?

#3.) No player in the world has good enough camoflauge to keep counting at $3K a hand at the same casino/company.

Wrong.

#2.) Do you realize how sick a BR you would need to competently play/count $3K a hand at BJ?

[/ QUOTE ]

If you're counting, you don't bet the same amount per hand. Someone [normally] is counting and playing quarters, scratches back of baseball hat, Layne shows up and bets big while count is favorable = totally std.

Dude, you are hilariously misinformed. My friend G has been taking casino money since the 1970s by the millions by counting and has never been barred. They welcome his action because they don't think he counts [obvs] and he doesn't get too greedy at any one place. He's well-known amongst many of the old-time counters.

I agree with all you said.
There are other methods of play that get the money here as well as #2, but I can't get into details.
