WTF Gild that is not my point at all.

My point is that saying "McGill is the best school" is meaningless, because nobody wants to go to the "best school" they want to go to the best arts school, med school, tech school, etc.

[/ QUOTE ]

oh ok, that makes more sense, sry

I went to upstairs for the first time 2 weeks ago. I liked it, but as you said it was pricey for what it was. ended up costing me like 65$ for dinner, beer and cover.

which is a [censored] joke, they give none of it to musicians

All the McGill jazzers have to do their final exam there as a performance on a weeknight and cover is usually free. A good mcgill jazz quartet is better than 90% of professional bands so I'd recommend going on a weeknight, getting a poutine around the corner and buying a drink there and nursing it (That's what i did when I was broke in undergrad and wanted to see my friends play).

You live on an island?

Is it like Hawaii, but without the warm weather and beaches?

EDIT: Research has shown that it is in fact a peninsula but an examination of Google Maps has led me to say "close e-[censored]-nough"

SFU ftw. I think my school was ranked top in canada in suicide rates, probably because it is built like [censored] alcatraz and its cold as [censored] on a mountain.
