By the way, why are NLHU cash players such douches? Seriously. Every second or third opponent has some retarded strategy for trying to tilt me, like typing 'nh' after I lose a pot and things like that. And lol at the guys who, in berating me, basically just lay out their game plan.
Another group that annoy me are the regs who won't play regs, but also refuse to type that in the chat. So I'll sit down, and they just stay sat out until I leave, even if I ask if we have a game. FFS, just tell me when I sit down that we don't have a game, it's not that hard! There are also the guys who sit down with 20bb when I have 300bb and refuse to find a different table, but they're not really poker players so I guess that's a different category. Anyway, I'm new to this lark, so maybe I've just had a skewed initial experience, but those are my gripes so far for those who care. |

Insane Steve11 on AIM, for anyone who wants to dabble in poker strategy.
I've been playing a lot of HU PLO recently, playing the $30 and $50 SNGs and some $.50/$1 and $1/$2 cash games against people that aren't terribly good (I watch a player if I suspect they're bad, and play if I think they are). So... any other people who play PLO (not O8), hit me up on AIM. |

I suppose it's just one of those days, but I feel moved to violence. I can't seem to put people away anymore. Lost every flip, several 65-35's, 2 3-outers, and 2 2-outers, and a fun runner-runner from a guy who called my KK shove w/ 87 preflop (75/150 blinds, 1200 effstax). Though I guess the runner runner doesn't count because we were allin preflop, I'm adding it to the list because of the gut-punchiness of watching it happen. Time to stop playing, go outside, smoke a cigarette, and look for the cutest kitten I can find to drop-kick. I usually don't get this worked up. I also usually don't get [censored] on like this. Oy. </rant> Fun thing is, I'm playing within my bankroll for the first time in my life. I'll be pissed off now, review some HH's, and be right back in it tomorrow. I'm glad I don't donkey tilt and jump levels like Mario in Donkey Kong. Anymore. |
